#592 Mexican Hut Nativity

Acquired 2011

Even though we don't exchange gifts any longer, my niece Katie traditionally brings a nativity to me whenever I have an Open House. This year was no exception. For the 2011 Nativity Open House, she brought this precious Mexican hut style nativity to me. It came from Tonala. Jalisco, Mexico. It is called Arte Tanias. With the beautiful sunflowers, reflective of the warm sun, the Holy Family nestles inside the blue hut with the beige roof. A light can be put in the back to add more sparkle to the set. Thank you, Katie.
